All Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks boating and fishing regulations apply to Council Grove City Lake (See KDWP website www.ksoutdoors.com/boating for complete boating and fishing regulations)

All vessels (excluding kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and paddleboards and CFAP activities) on Council Grove City Lake must have a current city-issued boating permit displayed on the starboard side of the boat.  A current and valid ANS certification and proof of successful completion of this study guide and knowledge test are required to purchase the City Permit.
